Many churches operate as a business, decisions are based on what is the best interest of the church as a business. At Connexion, we strive to be a body - not a business. An organism - not an organization. Because of this, we strive to function on the basis of Spiritual Gifts.
In an organization - maintenance becomes the focus. In an organism - ministry is the focus. Our goal is to maximize ministry, minimize maintenance and see people function as ministers.
Romans 12.4-6
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We each have different gifts according to the grace given to us.
